Parallel sessions will last for 90 minutes. Hence, in a regular session with four presenters, each presenter has about 22 minutes (giving some time to set up the slides). You can divide this time between your presentation and the discussion as you prefer. However, we recommend leaving at least 5 minutes for the discussion. In sessions with more or fewer presenters, the presentation times change accordingly to fit the 90-minute slots. Each session has a designated chair who is responsible for timekeeping and moderating the discussions. Typically the last presenter in the session is the chair.
A computer with MS Windows is available in each room. Your presentation should be in PowerPoint or PDF format. Please bring your presentation on a USB flash drive and copy your slides onto the computer before your session.
Presenters are required to bring their printed poster to the conference venue. There is no possibility to print the posters at the conference venue. The maximum dimensions for the poster are A0 landscape (118.9 x 84.1cm). The poster session will be held on Tuesday, 3rd September from 12:30 to 13:30 in the Hogan Mezzanine Foyer on Level 4 and presenters should be available to present their posters during these times. Poster boards will be labelled with the poster number and we would ask presenters to put up their posters on Tuesday morning. Please also make sure to collect posters before closure on Tuesday evening.
